i love to play music. recently i started to attempt writing some. it is still hard for me. is there anything i can do to help myself? my influences are thrash metal, and classic rock.

The best way is to listen to your favorite rock or metal band. Play along with them instead of listening,. Eventually, you will get the feel of their music so that, when you jam with others, you will come up with some riffs that are copied but modified a little.

Eventually, you will start doing your own riff. You to have to listen to lots of music and devleop your ear training. This way, it will come second nature to you to imporovise or compose something in the lines of your favorite band.

Why is it when you try to change the oil on your car, the hardest part is getting the oil filter off? And why is it so difficult, I ask? Because the freaking oil filter wrench is a piece of crap.

And I’ve tried several different kinds of filter wrenches. But they all leads up to frustration and bruised knuckles. So, why is the most simpliest part of an oil change, ironically has to be the most difficult?
